AUTO ASSEMBLY

Description

Are you the one with good knowledge in assembling the auto parts, then here is the chance to showcase your mechanical mind in assembling the parts.

ROUND 1

• A team can consist of maximum 3 members
• This round will be a simple pen paper test.
• 20 objective questions will be given to the participants.
• Questions will be based on the material metallurgy of the auto components.
• Selected teams will be qualified for the round 2.

ROUND 2

• This round will be the identification of the engine parts.
• Engine parts will be displayed.
• Participants have to identify the name of the engine part and its material with which it is made.
• Top 4 teams will be qualified for the final round

ROUND 3

• The selected teams are provided with lots which consist of clutch assembly, head valve assembly, carburetor assembly.
• Based on the lot chosen by the team, they are provided with the materials.
• Within the time duration of 30 minutes, the assembly has to be done.
• The top 3 teams will be declared as winner.

JUDGING CRITERIA

• For the final round, judgment will be done based on upon the number of parts assembled and upon the hierarchy.
• If the two teams assemble the same number of parts then the judgment will be done based upon the hierarchy and with minimal error.
• Negative marking will be done for improper assembly.
• The jury's decision is final.
