Here is a stage for you to project your planning strategies in transforming your project to a product with marketing techniques.


EVENT DETAILS

ROUND 1

  • A team can consist of maximum 2 members.
  • The Product can be in any field / area, but the team should have a proof of concept (Prototype).
  • A brief idea of how the design could be presented during the exhibition should also be included in the abstract.
  • The abstract should not exceed 300 words.
  • Details of the team members: Name, Department, Email id, Contact Number and Institution name should be sent along with abstract.
  • All abstracts will be shortlisted by the committee and the selected abstracts /participants will be informed via email as per the given schedule.
  • Deadline for submission: On or before (Date)

ROUND 2

  • Selected teams will be allowed to present their product/Prototype in front of judges.
  • Prepare the slides based on the guidelines given in the judging criteria.
  • Bring your soft copies in a pen drive.
  • The time limit for the presentation is 10 minutes (7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for queries)


JUDGING CRITERIA

B-Plan will be judged by a panel of experts. Following are the broad guidelines for judging:
  • Creativity and Novelty: How novel is the idea? How different is it from the current solutions available? The innovation must be ingenious and novel in its area of application and should have a high potential for leaving an impact on the society.
  • Originality: The innovation should not, by any means, include copied or stolen work, such applications will be disqualified immediately.
  • Performance
  • Cost/Market Value and Acceptance
  • Durability and Usability: Durability of the prototype/method proposed.
  • Implementation ability: Is the solution implementable as described? Is it repeatable? Is the solution feasible for diverse and changing conditions?
  • Scalability: Is the solution scalable to a higher level, how easy is it to scale up and what are the factors affecting it?
  • Potential of Impact: How does it benefit society? The Scale of problem it solves, Intensity of the solution and number of people catered from the solution directly and indirectly.
  • Design: Has the design been taken into consideration? How optimized is the product?
  • Ergonomics If the team decides to make a well-designed product
In case of any discrepancies, the decision of the Organizers or Judges will be final and binding on all.
